Bible Talk Sunday

Bible Lectionary Net (BLN) Every Sunday night at 7:00p central time with Bill N8RWF

Please join us every Sunday evening at 7:00p central time for the Bible Lectionary Net (BLN). Bill N8RWF uses a variation of the Revised Common Lectionary appointed for each Sunday for the selected readings of the net. This is an easy way to share the Gospel of Jesus via Amateur Radio.

The Lectionary is simply a set of Scripture readings that tend to match the Church calendar. The Church Year Calendar is a 364 day calendar based upon the date of Easter. Easter (Day of the Resurrection of Jesus) is the most Holy Day of the Christian Faith. The Church Calendar is both solar and lunar based. Therefore, the date of Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon that occurs after the Vernal (Spring) Equinox.

Bill N8RWF takes several stand-bys between readings during the net for questions, comments, and check-ins to the net. Net time is 20-30 minutes.

Currently, for 2025 AD using the list of the Three-Year LCMS Lectionary Year “C” for the readings for each Sunday.

Bill N8RWF was Baptized and Confirmed in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Where we hold the firm belief that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God’s only Son, is Lord and Savior of the world. Jesus is the Word made flesh and is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit through God’s Holy Word in the Holy Bible.

Grace Alone; Faith Alone; Scripture Alone in Jesus Christ.

Having the freedom and this platform to share the Gospel of Jesus via Digital Amateur Radio is a joy! Thank you, Jesus!

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
